Nicki Arnold

Nicki Arnold joined GrassrootsLab in 2011 and assists in managing the firm’s diverse clients from the GrassrootsLab office in Sacramento. Nicki executes varied account support for numerous clients, including website management, event planning and staffing, and coalition building, both locally and statewide. Nicki has coordinated legislative advocacy efforts and been involved with several campaigns, both at the local and statewide levels. Additionally, she is the editor for GrassrootsLab’s California City News, the most widely read local government-focused publication in California.

Nicki got her start in Sacramento working with a small fundraising firm, where she earned first-hand experience with events and campaign and candidate fundraising in the Capitol community.

Nicki graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During her time in Santa Barbara, she was also a regular columnist for the local weekly newspaper, the Independent, and a longtime writer and editor for the student paper, the Daily Nexus. Immediately following graduation, Nicki spent a year teaching English in Thailand. She has also been involved with YMCA’s Youth & Government program since she was a delegate in the program in high school.
