The Leadership California Institute (LCI) was formed to identify, educate and train existing and future policymakers in California. Because of the systemic challenges facing the state legislature, the LCI is taking the unique opportunity to work with future lawmakers and regional leaders at the local level in order to build the understanding and relationships necessary to craft positive solutions to critical policy issues.

GrassrootsLab principles worked with the founding board members of LCI to convene major events with newly elected legislators, and partnered with PBS for a series on Race in Politics.
